Mass Spectra’s controller software and software development expertise increase lab productivity while simplifying lab complexity. We can write an external application to a manufacturer’s application programming interface (API) or a direct script within an application. In addition, Mass Spectra or your own developers can use our powerful controller software to integrate devices, schedule and control them uniformly, and collect, retrieve, and analyze data efficiently.

Mass Spectra’s controller software is:

• Easy to use. A simple graphical user interface gives the user control over multiple vendors’ instruments while shielding the complexities of biological assays. The software can be used to create easy-to-run, single-click automation applications as well as error handling/recovery and validation applications that result in accurate runs with minimal user input.

• Integrated to LIMS. The controller software captures data directly from instruments into LIMS and custom databases and provides an efficient indexing mechanism for fast and effective retrieval and analysis of data. The software supports direct database retrieval of plate maps, sample information, and plate/sample layout, isolating the user from layout complexities.

• Adaptable and scalable. Highly modular, our software is easily and cost effectively customized to virtually any scientific application. With industry-proven drivers for more than 200 instruments and peripherals, the software integrates all hardware under one control architecture.

• High throughput. Parallel dispatching and scheduling results in high throughput with the dispatcher producing more than 300,000 samples and 10,000 microplates in a single run. The scheduler performs full sample tracking in real time.
